Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Teenagers and Young Adults in Gloucestershire
I provide a professional, welcoming and confidential Counselling and Psychotherapy service to children, teenagers and young adults between the ages of 11 and 25. Both Counselling and Psychotherapy can help young people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives to find positive solutions to problems and to reach their full potential.
Children, teenagers and young adults seek help and support for many different reasons. Sometimes this can be to address current difficulties and sometimes to deal with problems that have been there for a long time.
Working with a Counsellor can enable young people to move forward from past experiences, to explore the connection between their feelings, thoughts and behaviours, to make choices and find solutions that are right for them and to make significant, positive changes in daily living.
I have several years experience of working as a Counsellor with a Gloucester based young people's counselling service helping children, teenagers and young adults with a wide range of issues that affect emotional well-being, relationships, family, school, college and work life. I currently work as a Counsellor with young people and adults in an educational setting in Gloucester.
As an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy I work to the standards set by their Ethical Framework and Code of Practice (BACP). I am also a member of the BACP's Counselling Children and Young People (CCYP) division.
My practice is based in central Cheltenham and I welcome enquiries from individuals, G.P's, Health Care Professionals, schools and all children's, family and young people's services in Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding areas.
If you would like to find out more or book an appointment, please feel free to call me.
My priority will always be to safeguard and promote the well-being of children and young people.
